About PMP Exam

To take the PMP exam, you have to schedule your exam on www.pearsonvue.com and ensure to clear your exam in 1 year from the time your application on the portal is approved.

The exam duration for PMP is 4 hours.

There are 200 multiple choice questions out of which only 175 questions are graded. In order to succeed in the exam, you need to answer 106 or more questions correctly.

How long does it take to prepare for the PMP^® Exam?

We recommend a minimum of 150-200 hours of qualitative preparation. Ideally, one should study for at least 1.5 hours every day on weekdays and minimum 5 hours over the weekends. With approximately 10 weeks of qualitative preparation, you should be completely prepared for the PMP^® examination. 

Should I only study from the PMBOK^® Guide? Will I clear the PMP^® Exam if I do so?

Although the PMP^® exam is based on the PMBOK^® Guide, it goes way beyond the understanding of only the PMBOK^® Guide. One needs to comprehend the concepts of Project Management for which attending a qualitative training program is highly recommended. Has the PMP^® Exam pattern changed recently?

Yes, the pattern has changed and we have now a new structure to follow from 15 December 2019 onwards.
